Privacy Policy

This policy covers the private upload tool of the Stellar Footnotes YouTube channel (the "app"). The app is used only by the channel's owner, to manage that one channel. It is not offered to the public.
What the app accesses
- YouTube upload (youtube.upload): to upload videos and thumbnails to the owner's channel.
- YouTube read-only and YouTube Analytics read-only (youtube.readonly, yt-analytics.readonly): to read the channel's own video statistics and audience reports.
How data is used and stored
Access tokens and analytics figures are stored only on the owner's computer, to plan future videos. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising. The app does not collect data about viewers or any other Google users.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the local token files removes all stored access.
